Gildlings is an illustration-led literary agency, built to champion visual storytellers — from picture book creators to graphic novelists.

Our name is inspired by traditional Guilds; communities of skilled craftspeople making cool stuff, taking pride in their work and learning from each other. It’s a nod to the spirit of collaboration and creativity; representing both a collective of talent and the adding of something extra special – like gilding a book with gold!
