‏Farimah Khavarinezhad is an award-winning illustrator who brings life’s most heartwarming moments to the page with her bold, whimsical, and vibrant style. Based in Canada, she’s passionate about character design and storytelling that connects with both children and adults.

From a young age, drawing was her full-time passion. One of her dearest childhood memories is watching Anne of Green Gables while sketching scenes from the show—then taping the pages together to create her very first picture book.

To date, Farimah has illustrated over 20 picture books for clients including Magic Cat Publishing, Lucky Cat Publishing, Capstone, and Educate2Empower. She takes pride in reflecting diversity and multiculturalism in her illustrations. She recharges her creativity through camping, hiking, and baking (carrot cake is a favorite!). When challenges arise, she meets them through planned daily routines. Her superpower? Discipline.
