Sandra Grabowski is a trained archaeologist and graphic designer. She has always enjoyed combining her two professions and has been creating illustrations for international museums and research institutions such as the British Museum and the University of Copenhagen for many years.

She’s now excited to turn her attention to writing and illustrating for children. Her professional background means she brings curiosity and an enthusiasm for research to any project, and she is passionate about making history, science, and the ancient world relatable, alive, and fun. Her characters are full of humour, warmth, and personality, and she has a knack for storytelling and sequential art.

When she’s not working, she enjoys sitting in cosy cafés, researching in libraries, and doing lots and lots of walking. She lives with her family in Berlin, Germany.
